Since the beginning of the seventies performance mediates the presence of the primordial medium, the body, through the electronic technology. Thus from the 1970's onwards we had videoperformance and from the 1980's and onwards: multimedia performance with the later integration of digital technology in the 1990's. Nowadays with the emergent environment of Internet, we can conceive ways of performing 'online', live and in real time, thanks to the possibilities that are brought with recent developments in streaming media. What are the new creative doors that these possibilities open up?

The basic objective of this seminar is to experiment and think about the media:

1- To know the basic technological principles of livestream and its video applications.
2- To experiment with the medium: livestream videoperformance via Internet.
3- To reflect and to imagine on the different levels and implications of the media involved in the creative process.
